There is so much to do in Sanpete County, besides relaxing.
- There is a wonderful museum in Fairview just off Main Street.
- In Spring City the Historic Home tour is opened on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.
- Spring City celebrates Pioneer Days in July, and in September the Spring City Arts Plein Air & Studio Tours. Please look at friendsofhistoricspringcity.org for more information.
- We have 2 art gallery’s in town come and take your time looking at the beautiful art work.
- Stop by and see The Horseshoe Mountain Pottery Shop on 278 S. Main Street. The shop is always open. Joe Bennion is the potter and sometimes found in the back working and creating new items to sell. If you are interested please see Joe’s Facebook page.
- His wife Lee Udall Bennion is amazing in her own right. She is a local artist but also makes and sells in Joe’s shop, Mom’s Stuff salve. It is an healing salve. More information: momsstuffsalve.com
- There is an art museum in Ephraim featuring local Utah artists.
- On Manti’s Main Street there are shops and a candy store, Candies on Main; there is a wonderful cook in the Carriage House restaurant in the Historic Manti Inn (they also do wedding breakfasts and other family reunions luncheons).
- Don’t miss the LDS Manti Temple, a beautiful site to see.
- South of Manti is Sterling… there is one of the best golf courses in the state… Palisades Golf Course; there is a beautiful lake, Palisades State Park, next to the golf course, to fish in.
- The Skyline Drive up Fairview Canyon is breathtaking.
